Nigerian voice narration
Fictional training case. Adaeze works at Kolade Microfinance Bank in Enugu. A customer, Mr. Obi, emailed: 'You people have stolen my ₦75,000! The transfer to my supplier failed but my account was debited since Tuesday. I will report this bank everywhere!' Adaeze has three minutes before her shift ends and a queue of eleven similar emails. Work through the example, identify the evidence needed and practise the method with cleared or synthetic inputs. Any additional figures in the explanation are separate practice examples, not claimed rows in a downloadable file.

Worked example
Adaeze uses the approved system to confirm the debit and that investigation remains open. In free AI chat she uses only a synthetic example, not a live email or ticket. Her prompt requests an acknowledgement, confirmed facts and an approved next-update time, without a refund promise. The draft adds an immediate refund, so she removes it. She then compares amount, date and status with the source and adds personal contact details locally. The fictional 48-hour update window is supplied for this exercise only; actual response commitments come from the institution’s current process.
The method
The three-part structure — empathy, facts, next step — works because angry customers want to feel heard before they want a timeline. Keep prompts generic by using ticket references instead of BVN or account numbers, since those details could leak into logs or screenshots shared later. Always verify any number or promise the AI inserts against the actual case file before sending; AI cannot see your core banking system.
Worked practice and common mistakes
The confirmed case is an unreversed debit, not a confirmed refund. A response should acknowledge the concern, state verified status and give an approved update time. A fictional ticket is used for training only; live ticket references may still be linkable. Do not copy private emails or full case records into public chat. Add personal and escalation details locally in the approved system.
Review before using the result
The checked reply acknowledges inconvenience, states the verified status and says when an update is due. It does not guarantee a refund or describe an investigation as complete. Ticket references used in public exercises are fictional; a real reference can still identify a case.
Your workplace practice
Use the recommended free assistant with this lesson's fictional example. Ask for the output described in the worked example. Keep a copy of the input and draft. Compare the result with the verification steps above, record any correction, and retain placeholders where evidence is missing. The expected result is a checked draft for human review, not an automatically approved decision. Course examples and practice responses are fictional; amounts, dates, rules and thresholds are not official guidance or supplier quotations.
